Do I Need to Know Everything?

When creating a business, it’s not just about creating something that generates cashflow. It’s about remembering that even though we might be able to make the impossible happen, reality still exists — the reality that we are not all created equal. I have had my journey and you have had yours. I will never be you and you will never be me.

I remember one day walking into a car shop and waiting in line to get my car fixed. After waiting patiently, I approached the clerk and told him about the problem I had with my car. I was unable to clearly formulate the issue, since I did not have the acquired skills to explain exactly what was wrong with the car. So I got a bit frustrated and said, “Do I need to know everything?”

He paused. I got embarrassed — not because of anything said, but because of my own realization that yes, I need to know everything. After that, I quickly enrolled in a car mechanics course just in order to better handle any future mishaps.

But it was not a new way of thinking, I always had. It just came to me, in different ways.
